Supplies required: Quilting ruler (I prefer 6.5”x 24” but a 6” x 24” will work), cutting mat; rotary cutter, sewing machine (starting with the 2nd class), thread, straight pins or mini clips, pen/pencil, scissors. Fabric as follows: *baby size quilt: 1/2 yard each of 3 colors with an additional 1/4 yard of one color *lap/crib size quilt: 2/3 yard each of 3 colors with an additional 1/2 yard of one color *comfort size quilt: 1.25 yards each of 3 colors if no border, or 1 yard each of 3 colors and 1/2 yard for 1st border and 1 yard for 2nd border (of 2 of the original 3 colors) *Queen size quilt (NO border): 2.5 yards each of 3 colors *Queen siz quilt (WITH border): 2 yards each of 3 fabrics with an extra 3/4 yard of one of these for the inner border and an extra 1 1/2 yard for the outer border. If you are attending class at a Boise Schools location, a Community Ed site coordinator will be at the entrance to direct you to your classroom.

Course Description
Students will make a Rail Fence style quilt top in their choice of sizes and fabrics. This quilt can be either feminine or masculine, for young or old depending on fabric choices. It is very fast to make once you get the concept of strip piecing down. Beginner friendly! SUPPLIES NEEDED.
