Course will be held at WEST FAMILY YMCA 5959 N. Discovery Place, Boise, ID 83713; 377.9622 PLEASE NOTE: Students will be joining an ongoing YMCA class; no refunds if student chooses not to attend after the first class. Please check in at the front desk and let them know you are with Community Education. A program application and release of liability will need to be signed before the first class. Please bring your receipt and ID with you! You will need to bring ID and the program card provided every time they check into the Y for the entire session. NEW! Students will also need to be set up with the touch free check in system and get a key card to sign in. MUST BE CHECKED IN 10 MINUTES BEFORE CLASS, OR SPOT WILL BE GIVEN TO WAITING LIST

Course Description

Crossfit Gold is the Y version of Crossfit training for the active older adult looking to maintain an active and fit lifestyle. This class follows the dynamic pattern of traditional CrossFit classes scaled to a level suitable for the active older participant. A CrossFit coach will help participants use body weight exercises, light barbells, kettle bells, balance training and posture strengthening work. Students will be joining an ongoing class; no refunds if student chooses not to attend after the first class.
