Course Description

This past year + of uncertainty, fear, juggling of responsibilities, and constant flux have taken a big toll on our health.  Are you feeling depleted?  Trouble thinking clearly?  More emotionally volatile than you used to be?  Depending more on coffee to get you going in the morning?

Join me to learn about the physiological effects of stress on our bodies, and how we can increase our resilience to stress, even if we can’t influence the source.  Learn a simple test you can use at home to measure your adrenal function, plus an activity to identify your “energy drains” and “energy builders”.  We will also look at which lab tests for adrenal function are most useful.

Take away many nutritional and other strategies for recovery – what foods to eat more of, what foods to avoid, why the timing of meals matters, and important lifestyle shifts that will support your recovery.
