Bev Sheeley

Bev Sheeley is a married, retired State of Idaho Health and Welfare employee, having worked from Coeur d'Alene to Soda Springs. She has been traveling since childhood and has visited all 50 states and 15, soon to be 20 countries. She loves to travel and learn about new people, cultures, history and environments. She is a 2012 Road Scholar alumni and ambassador and has completed both domestic and international Road Scholar adventures, the most recent to Machu Picchu and the Galapagos Islands. Her next Road Scholar trip will be to Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan. She has also traveled internationally with Rick Steves and Fons and Porters Love of Quilting.

Bev is a lifelong learner, Osher participant, 2016 alumni of the Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle, and local book club co-founder. She is an avid reader and season pass holder to The Flicks enjoying foreign films and documentaries. She is a quilter, and has won a number of awards; and after winning the Governor's Award at the Boise Basin Quilt Show in 2008, was asked to show quilts in Provence, France in 2009. She has enjoyed numerous quilt shows around the country and enjoys quilt shop hopping and antiquing when she travels.
