Elyse Johnson has been an Idaho resident for 32 years. She is also a mother of a 22 and 21 years old as well as an outdoor enthusiast. Ellie enjoys staying active and learning new things. She even went back to school to complete her master of business administration from Boise State University. She was a former spinning instructor as well as a Community Ed instructor in the past.

She has returned to Community Ed to share her knowledge of Internet Protocol Captioned Telephone Service, IPCTS. IP CTS permits an individual who can speak but who has difficulty hearing over the telephone to use a telephone and an Internet Protocol- enabled device via the inter to simultaneously listen to the other party and read captions of what the other party is saying.

She is currently an advocate for the hard of hearing community and their families, no cost resource that is federally funded (captioned telephone service) through the Americans With Disabilities Act.
