Valeri Pighini

Valeri Pighini began practicing yoga in 1996, and after 17 years decided to deepen her practice with a 200-hour yoga teacher-training program in Northern California. One year later, she added another 200-hour yoga teacher training and just completed her 300-hr YTT with Shanti in Boise.
Current credentials are ERYT-200 and RYT-500. As a life-long fitness enthusiast, Valeri has a strong background in ballet and ballroom dance. She acquired a certificate with the International Dance Exercise Association (IDEA) in 1996. A deep interest of anatomy and physiology took place during that time, so her practice, both personal and as an instructor, stem from that knowledge. First and foremost, she instructs with safety and comfort for her students.
Valeri brings humor to all her classes, always mindful to ensure stability over flexibility. You should not be surprised to hear her describe a pose as "delicious." Valeri's classes move slowly, deliberately, mindfully and with purpose.
