Rick Just is a native Idahoan who grew up on a ranch along the Blackfoot River. He is the author of three adult novels, four YA novels, and has written or edited several books on Idaho history. He writes the Speaking of Idaho Facebook blog and publishes a weekly subscription newsletter on Idaho history. His newest book is Coyote Moon, the story of his great-grandmother's Morrisite War experience and her struggles as a pioneer woman in the West.
