Marian Herz is a retired product management and development professional who now spends most of her time traveling the world taking photographs. She started taking pictures when she was seven and continued her interest in photography in her adult life.  She has won international photographic competitions, including 3 best-in-the-world nature print awards in the Kodak lnternational Salon.  She also won an awmd in the Ocean Conservancy 2016 contest, and two of her images are featured in the 2018 Ocean Conservancy calendar.  Her images have also been published in National Wildlife magazine, National Gardening magazine, Florida Wildlife magazine and on the World Wildlife Fund web site. She has exhibited in numerous juried art shows and galleries. When home, she gives presentations to community groups about the countries and communities she has visited, and about the environmental changes she has captured in her photograihy.
