Pam Knowles

Pam Knowles, CVT, VTS, Emergency and Critical Care (ECC), has a true passion for emergency medicine and has worked in the ER throughout her career. She first started work as a veterinary assistant in 1996 in Oregon and became a CVT in 2000. 

 

In 2005, she moved to Boise and joined WestVet where she currently serves as a Patient Care Director at WestVet where she manages a staff of 40 technicians and assistants.

 

In 2009, after a lengthy and rigorous process she was awarded her Vet Tech Specialist (VTS) in emergency and critical care. One of Pam’s primary goals in her career is the training and education of our up-and-coming technicians, she enjoys raining and mentoring new staff and often provides Continuing Education seminars to the technicians in her community.

When not at work Pam loves spending time with her two daughters and of course their many pets.

Erica Mattox CVT, VTS (ECC)

Erica Mattox is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) and Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Emergency and Critical Care. She works as the Surgery Clinical Manager at WestVet 24 Hour Animal Emergency & Specialty Center in Garden City, Idaho.
