Course Description
Religion is increasingly seen as irrelevant or detrimental to modern life for many reasons. Here we will give a positive view of religion as a source for the transformation of individuals and of civilization, showing its essential oneness between them, a common vision for the bright future of humanity. To reinforce the interconnectedness we will examine how, in all the world’s sacred scriptures, they share eternal truths and actually anticipate each other and mutually establish each other’s validity through prophetic relationships. We conclude with a story that remarkably links all four Abrahamic religions together!
This class will challenge ideas to which perhaps we have clung. It will help us see the world in a new, brilliant, and hopeful light. Come armed with an open mind. This will be an exciting journey.
