If you are attending class at a Boise Schools location, a Community Ed site coordinator will be at the entrance to direct you to your classroom. Bring note taking materials. Community Education classes MIGHT be cancelled due to inclement weather. Decisions will be made by Boise School District leadership regarding evening activities, including Community Ed classes. Course Description

Come and meet the owners of True Roots Farm, located near Marsing in the Treasure Valley. Their kale, squashes and many other vegetables are sold through CSA's and the Boise Farmers Market. Learn how their farming and soil health practices translate into nutritious and delicious crops. You'll never eat a sweeter delicata squash than the ones grown by True Roots. Understanding the principles of soil health from classes Soil Health 1 and Soil Health 2 would be helpful, but they are not required for this class.
