Course Description
Puppets are great intermediaries because they don't have egos. They can help us express difficult emotions and teach concepts in a fun and lighthearted way because in an instant they can be silly or profound. They can get around the loaded power issues that we sometimes encounter in a difficult conversation. This class explores the empowering techniques used to create puppet life using movement, sound and whatever else is available. It is a lifelong skill that is fun to share with people of ages other than our own.
Puppets are provided but participants are welcome to bring favorite toys and/or puppets.
Youth welcome with adult.
