Course Description

There is a reason why the line for strawberries is so long at the Smith Berry booth at the Boise Farmers Market. The sweet flavor, bright color and perfect texture of their berries is a result of the Smiths' dedication to soil health principles including using no sprays and incorporating cover crops. Come hear Joann Smith talk about their strawberries and why paying attention to the soil they're grown in makes a difference in the crop.
