Course Description
Get in shape faster with Nordic Walking! Using specialized poles and the correct technique, you'll be burning more calories than regular walking, strengthening the upper body, and taking the stress off the lower body. This class covers a brief history of Nordic Walking, and the Boise Nordic walking community. Learn your correct pole height and experience the foundational technique of Nordic Walking and how it is different than trekking or "just walking with poles." Wear athletic shoes, no sandals. Poles provided for use during class.
