Supplies required: Quilting acrylic ruler (I prefer 6.5”x24” but a 6”x24” will work), cutting mat; rotary cutter 45mm, sewing machine, thread, straight pins. Fabric as follows: *baby/lap (approximately 40”square): ¾ yard focus/main; 1 ¼ yd contrast (1); 5/8 yard contrast (2) *Crib/comfort (approximately 40” x 57”): 1 yard focal; 1 3/8 yard contrast (1); ¾ yard contrast (2) *Queen (approximately 80” square): 2 5/8 yard focal; 2 5/8 yard contrast (1); 1 ½ yard contrast (2) + 7/8 yard of focal or contrast (1); and 7/8 yard of contrast (2) for the inner border. If you are attending class at a Boise Schools location, a Community Ed site coordinator will be at the entrance to direct you to your classroom.
Course Description
Students will make a quilt top in their choice of sizes and fabrics: This quilt can be either feminine or masculine, for young or old depending on fabric choices. It is very fast to make once you get the concept of strip piecing down.
