Course Description

If you are interested in forming a cover band, but don't know where to start -- this course is for you! Collaborating though music can be really fun and rewarding, but there are many pitfalls: How do you find other members? Once you find them, how do you keep them? What are the best strategies to moving from “garage band” to a band that gets paid gigs?

This five-week course will look at band development in four parts:

1) Finding your members;

 2) Finding your sound;

3) Finding your vibe, and

4) Playing your music and creating your brand.

On night five, we will have an optional jam session - bring your instruments!
