Tour the Morrison Center! This class will take place in the theatre and include information about the history and events that come through the venue, as well as what it takes to make a stage production come to life. We will walk on the stage and learn about outreach programs and volunteer opportunities.
Established in 1984, the Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts is a major destination for arts, culture and world-class entertainment. Coined by its founders as “The Peoples’ Theatre”, patrons visit the Center from every major city in Idaho and every state in the Union. Artists and their production crews visit us from all over the world! As one of Idaho’s cultural jewels, the Center plays an important role in the state’s unique identity, quality of life and economics. Principally funded by ticket sales and the Morrison Center Endowment Foundation, the Center places no financial burden on the state or taxpayers. Over 150,000 patrons enjoy the Center annually.
Parking is available in the Brady garage, adjacent to the Morrison Center. Depending on time spent on campus, parking costs are as follows: 0-2 hours - $3.00/hour 2-4 hours - $3.25/hour
