Tomato Gardening: You’ve grown it. Now what?

Live a more sustainable life while learning how to preserve what is grown around you. A University of Idaho advanced Master Gardener and advanced Master Food Safety Advisor will teach you the ways to enjoy your bounty through safe preservation practices.

 

Class highlights:

Six ways to preserve tomatoes…these ain't your grandma’s stewed tomatoes! Come prepared for education and entertainment! Learn the quickest and easiest ways to bring in your harvest and make it recipe-ready for your dinner table! Enjoy the taste of garden fresh tomatoes all year long.

 

While detailed preservations methods will be discussed, pressure canning will not be part of the class.
