Course Description
This class will introduce student to the basics of flash photography, how flash works and when to use it, how to expose for flash, off-camera flash techniques, what to look for when shopping for flash equipment, and how to set up a portable “strobist studio” for making portraits with portable flash equipment.
Students should have some basic photo knowledge and a camera with a hotshoe capable of mounting an external flash. (not just a built-in or pop-up flash).
