Course Description
Many Idahoans get an Amateur Radio License so that they can use Amateur Radio for "Emergencies."The intent of this class is to show newly Licensed Amateur Radio operations (Hams) how they can do that and be prepared for when traditional communications means are down. This includes discussion of what you need to do as well as examples of how you can be prepared "just in case." Having an Amateur Radio License is helpful, but not required. Bring note taking supplies.
