NOTE: NO CLASS FEB. 11. Fabric requirements: King size: 1.5 yards of each of 5 colors plus an extra yard of 1 fabric for the outer border and 3/4 yard of a second fabric for the inner border Queen size: 1.5 yards of 5 colors plus and extra yard of 1 fabric for the border Twin size: 1 yd ea of 5 colors and and extra 3/4 yard of 1 fabric for the border Baby or Lap size: 1/2 yard each of 5 colors, no border Community Education classes MIGHT be cancelled due to inclement weather. Decisions will be made by Boise School District leadership regarding evening activities, including Community Ed classes. Listen to local radio or television stations for information on weather cancellations or call the Community Education office at 208-854-4047. Supplies needed in addition to Fabric: Rotary cutter, acrylic ruler - prefer 6 1/2" x 24", sewing machine, thread, scissors, straight pins, seam ripper. If you are attending class at a Boise Schools location, a Community Ed site coordinator will be at the entrance to direct you to your classroom.

Course Description

Learn to make a 5 Color Around the World Quilt in your choice of 4 sizes: king, queen, twin, or baby/lap.  First class students bring fabric, rotary cutter, mat and 6"x24" ruler. The three remaining classes, students bring sewing machine if you have one, scissors, pins or clips, seam ripper. Instructor will provide pattern.

 

Fabric requirements:

King size: 1.5 yards of each of 5 colors plus an extra yard of 1 fabric for the outer border and 3/4 yard of a second fabric for the inner border

Queen size: 1.5 yards of 5 colors plus and extra yard of 1 fabric for the border

Twin size: 1 yd ea of 5 colors and and extra 3/4 yard of 1 fabric for the border

Baby or Lap size: 1/2 yard each of 5 colors, no border
