If you are attending class at a Boise Schools location, a Community Ed site coordinator will be at the entrance to direct you to your classroom. Community Education classes MIGHT be cancelled due to inclement weather. Decisions will be made by Boise School District leadership regarding evening activities, including Community Ed classes. Listen to local radio or television stations for information on weather cancellations or call the Community Education office at 208-854-4047. Ages 14 - 19 (with adult if under 18).

Course Description
Folk art is a wonderful example of artistic expression that allows a lot of room to explore an artist's experiences. Come to carving class and carve a folk art fish on a mount. Add your own artistic touches to complete the project. Carving is great fun and a hobby you can do anywhere. In class, you will learn tool basics, layout and proper technique.
All materials provided.
Ages 14 - 19 (with an adult if under 18).
