QUILTING: THE DISAPPEARING 9 PATCH

Supplies needed: Fabric - For baby/lap: 3/4yd main; 1 1/4 yards (one contrast) and 5/8 yard (second contrast). For the crib/comfort: 1 yd main; 1 3/8 yd (one contrast); and 3/4 yard (2nd contrast). Supplies needed besides Fabric: Rotary cutter, acrylic ruler - prefer 6 1/2" x 24"; sewing machine, thread, scissors, straight pins, seam ripper. Extension cords and 2 irons and pads will be provided. If you are attending class at a Boise Schools location, a Community Ed site coordinator will be at the entrance to direct you to your classroom. MASKS ARE OPTIONAL IN OUR SCHOOLS.

Course Description

THE DISAPPEARING 9 PATCH is a very versatile quilt pattern. Depending on the choice of fabric it can be masculine, feminine, landscape, characters, etc. It is really easy to adjust the size of the quilt - students will have their choice of doing a baby/lap (44" square) or crib/comfort (44" x 61"). Pattern included. This is Mary's go-to quilt!

Supplies needed:  Fabric

For baby/lap: 3/4yd main; 1 1/4 yards (one contrast) and 5/8 yard (second contrast).
