Students will be in a group observing as fellow students have their turn blowing glass. Material fee covers all materials and supplies needed. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle, room gets hot! CAUTION: If you are sensitive to, or easily over stimulated by extreme heat, we invite you to preview the workspace before signing up for this class. This class requires use of both hands & feet while lifting/maneuvering 10 lbs for roughly a 30-minute period in a hot workshop environment. Course Description

In this workshop, you and an instructor work together to create your own hanging garden globe.  This class will go over the basics of the glass-blowing studio set-up, techniques, and process of making a beautiful garden globe, complete with a shepherd's hook. This beautiful, large blown orb comes complete with an eye-hole, allowing it to hang from the shepherd's hook.  You will receive one-on-one instruction from a local glass artist to create your item, which will be available for pick-up the following day after 3 pm. The perfect gift for home... for a loved one or yourself!  Students will be in a group observing as fellow students have their turn blowing glass.
