Course Description
The Ada County Landfill was engineered to last 100 years. We'll be lucky if it lasts 60. A growing community means more trash. How can we extend the life of our landfill and reduce its environmental impact? Strengthen your knowledge of curbside recycling, discuss local diversion options, and learn more about how a modern landfill operates. This class is not a tour. Tours of the Ada County Landfill can be set up through the instructor.
