Course Description
This is an introductory course to discover the impact of a whole food plant-based diet on health. You'll learn why, what, and how it impacts common diseases like hypertension, high cholesterol and diabetes. We'll explore the broader health benefits of a plant-based diet beyond disease prevention, including weight management, gut health, and longevity. I'll provide practical guidance on transitioning to a plant-based diet, including tips for grocery shopping and cooking.
