Course Description
Bhagavad gita is the timeless wisdom of India’s spiritual teachings. Bhagavad gita teaches that we are eternal spiritual beings (atma) who have become entangled in an ephemeral reality of material existence (Prakriti). This reality is characterized by dualities such as pleasure and pain, birth and death, good and evil-and so forth. Bhagavad gita also teaches how we have been traveling from one ephemeral existence into another for countless lifetimes (kala) as a result of our actions( karma). Finally, Bhagavad gita teaches how we can pursue our worldly engagements and at the same time become liberated from this worldly existence by performing acts of selfless devotional meditation (BHAKTI YOGA) for the pleasure of the Supreme Divinity (Bhagavan).
