Note: Material fee covers all materials and supplies needed. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle, the room gets hot! CAUTION: If you are sensitive to, or easily over-stimulated by extreme heat, we invite you to preview the workspace before signing up for this class. This class requires use of both hands & feet while lifting/maneuvering 10 lbs for roughly a 30-minute period in a hot workshop environment.
Course Description
In this workshop, you will make your own heart-shaped glass paperweight. Class will go over basics of the glass blowing studio setup, and techniques. You will receive one-on-one instruction from a local glass artist to create your paperweight that will be available for pick-up the following day after 3 pm.
