Ann Upchurch |
Ann Upchurch, Life Enrichment Director at Touchmark Meadow Lake Village, joined the Life Enrichment and Wellness Program at Touchmark in the spring of 2009. She grew up in northern California in a family that encouraged adventurous opportunities.
Personal growth and leadership was enhanced from being a foreign exchange student, graduating from an Outward Bound program, and living two years with her family in a farm/college environment in Indiana.
Ann graduated from UC Davis and professionally has enjoyed being a business owner and franchisee in the fitness business for seven years. She has worked extensively in property management and the banking industry. She brings a wide variety of talents and skills to the Life Enrichment department and enjoys the rich experiences and depth of understanding that comes with working with people of all ages.
She has volunteered with “Girls on the Run,†and the Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she plays several instruments, loves cooking, reading and hand crafts.

Martha Hopper |
Martha Hopper, RYT500, is a Boise native who has been actively teaching group exercise classes for over 20 years. She earned her 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification in 2009 through the Shanti Yoga School of McCall and Boise.
Martha enjoys teaching a gentle style of yoga which can help students stay active and feel good about their bodies. Classes use basic yoga poses and breathing methods which may increase flexibility, strength and balance, improve back and joint health, and promote relaxation.
She holds nationally recognized fitness instructor certifications from AFAA and ACSM.
