Course Description

If you love animals and are interested in traveling to see them in the wild instead of in the zoo, this class is for you! Topics will include: what wildlife travel is and is not, how to plan and budget for a trip, what to expect, pitfalls to watch for, how to pick a company to travel with or build an itinerary on your own, packing tips, amateur wildlife photography, and available resources to research your destination. Photos from various wildlife destinations will be available.

You too can see orangutans in Borneo, the Big Five in Africa, polar bears in Canada, Tasmanian devils in Australia, tigers in India, or even snorkel with sea lions in the Galapagos. If trips like these are on your bucket list, this class could help you make them a reality!
