Mario P. Delisio, Archaeologist, Anthropologist, Historical Geographer, was nominated for the Outstanding Educator Award as an educator-researcher at Boise State University. Later he received the Idaho Governor's Award for Excellence. He has conducted archaeological researches throughout Idaho, the Yucatan of Mexico and Morocco, North Africa.
In the U.S. Navy he was trained and served as a meteorologist. Other background is being a wildlife-scenic photographer.
With over a half century of field and academic experience, he works with Collette Vacations, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, the oldest tour operator in the U.S. at about 100 years and one of the very best, in their U.S. and Worldwide tours. In addition, through his own operation, Great Explorations based in Boise, he leads historical, archaeological, geological, wildlife and various other exciting educational travel explorations throughout Idaho and the American West.
